At Introcast, we collect and manage user data according to the following Privacy Policy. This document is part of Introcast's Terms of Service, and by using introcast.io (the “Website”), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.   • Communications. If you communicate with us, we collect your name, your contact information and the contents of any communications you send ("Communication Information").
  • Account Information. When you create an account on our Website, we collect information that is related to your account, including but not limited to your name, contact information, podcast information and account credentials.

Personal Information which we receive from your use of the Website and/or Services. We collect the following information when you use or interact with our Website and/or Services ("Technical Information"):

  • Log Data. Information that your browser or device automatically sends when you use the Website or the Services. Log data includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interact with the Website or the Services and the types of content that you view or engage with, the features you use and the actions you take, as well as your time zone, country, the dates and times of access and your computer connection.
  • Cookies. We use cookies to operate and administer the Website and the Services, and improve your experience. A “cookie” is a piece of information sent to your browser by a website you visit. You can set your browser to accept all cookies, to reject all cookies, or to notify you whenever a cookie is offered so that you can decide each time whether to accept it. You are able to view, change and remove your data associated with your profile. Should you choose to delete your account, please contact us at hello@introcast.io and we will follow up with such request as soon as possible.

Children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should not use Introcast. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under such age. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under such age, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible

Use of the Data

We use Personal Information to provide and improve our Services, to communicate with you and to develop new services. We also use Personal Information to analyze trends, administer and protect the security of our Website and Services, track users' movements, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We may aggregate or de-identify Personal Information so that it may no longer be used to identify you and use such information to analyse the effectiveness of the Services, to improve and add features to the Services, to conduct research and for other similar purposes. We will maintain and use de-identified information in anonymous or de-identified form and we will not attempt to re-identify the information, unless required by law.

With respect to any videos or images you may choose to upload to Introcast, we take the privacy and confidentiality of such documents seriously. If you choose to make a video public, we recommend you redact any and all references to people and addresses, as we can't protect public data and we are not responsible for any violation of privacy law you may be liable for.

We employ industry standard techniques to protect against unauthorized access of data about you that we store, including Personal Information.

We do not share Personal Information you have provided to us without your consent, unless:

  • doing so is appropriate to carry out your own request;
  • we believe it's needed to enforce our Terms of Service, or that is legally required;
  • we believe it's needed to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues;
  • otherwise protect our property, legal rights, or that of others.

Introcast is operated from the United States. If you are visiting the Website from outside the United States, you agree to any processing of any Personal Information you provide us according to this policy.

Introcast may contact you, by email or other means. For example, Introcast may send you promotional emails relating to Introcast or other third parties Introcast feels you would be interested in, or communicate with you about your use of the Introcast website. Please contact us if you do not wish to receive such emails or communications.

Sharing of Data

We may share Personal Information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as providers of hosting services, cloud services, email communication software, web analytics software, data storage, customer support and other information technology providers. These service providers are required to protect Personal Information and are not authorized to use it for any purpose other than to provide services on our behalf.

We may share Personal Information if we are involved in strategic transactions, reorganisation, insolvency, receivership, judicial management or transition of service to another provider (each, a “Transaction”) as part of diligence processes with counterparties and with others assisting with the relevant Transaction and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that Transaction.

You have the right to access Personal Information we hold about you and to ask that your Personal Information be viewed, changed, or deleted. Data Security Measures

We take reasonable measures to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via the Website, the Service or email. We are also not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website, the Service or any third-party websites.

Data Retention Policies

We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make major changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Website or sending you an email. A user is bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the Services after such changes have been first posted.
